How to setup Multi PC using Aster

Aster V7 x2 x64

Bago mag proceed kay Aster. Ito muna gawin nyo.

(for 500GB HDD) Gawa ka 3 partitions,

Drive C: 100 GB(Operating System & Applications)
Drive D: 180GB(games USER 1)
Drive E: 180GB(games USER 2)

For Yahoo or Flash Games, pwede na isang partition, pati Movies, Music and Videos.

ung personal setup ko po ay 2 partition lang, ung first partition ay para sa windows at share nalang ang user 1 and 2 sa second partition, lahat ng games ko ay naka install lang sa first partition tas ginawan ko nalang ng shortcut ung mga games at apps sa both desktop ng users

Install Operating System, much better if Windows 7 Ultimate or Pro 64 bit.

• Install On-board graphics driver and other drivers.
• Install Games and all PC Applications Needed.
• Power Off.
• Saksak mo na Graphics Card mo
(Dito mo na isaksak 2 VGA Cables mo, yung isa sa On-Board ang isa sa Video Card mo)
• Saksak Keyboard+Mouse PS2 and Keyboard+Mouse USB

• Power On.
• Install Graphics Card Driver
• Restart...
• After ma Restart na PC, on Desktop, Right-Click mo si Mouse then go to Screen Resolution, select "Extend Display"
• Now Click Control Panel > User Accounts > Add User Account(Admin Type)

32bit lang pala ang gamit kong windows 7 kasi hindi ko na download ung pang 64bit na driver ng video card ko, iba iba pala ang MOBO kung supported nya ang dual display, minsan kasi may i aadjust pa sa BIOS setting ng MOBO para gumana ang dual display, saken kasi ininstall ko muna ung driver ng video card ko, tas install ko din ung driver ng onboard video card tas i sinet ko sa BIOS na primary dapat ung onboard at pag restart ayun naka dual display na hehe

Aster..........

• Open mo si aster. Install mo for Every User.



• Choose Trial Period.



• After Ma Install mo si Aster. Open mo si Aster.



• Eto na si Aster, Enable Aster then Restart if Needed.



• Now Configure mo si Aster. Sa video, select 1 yung Graphics Card mo, then 2 sa On-Board mo.



• Sa Input(Keyboard+Mouse) naman tayo. Set mo sa 1 yung mga PS2 mo, Select 2 sa USB.



• Sa Audio. hanapin mo lng Speakers Mo, set mo sa 1 yung Built-In Audio, set mo sa 2 yung USB Sound Card.



• Log On. Number 1: User 1, Number 2: User 2 



• Punta muna tayo sa Network Settings, then select properties. Follow niyo lng IP setting. Pwede po ganito.

192.168.1.101
192.168.1.102 



bale ganito po yan sa Properties ng Local Area Connection nyo, hanapin nyo ung IPv4>properties tas use 192.168.1.100 as IP address, then sa subnet mask press "tab" para mag default sya and leave the others blank. Tapos sa advance tab naman, i add nyo nalang ung 192.168.1.101 at 192.168.1.102 sa IP address, press tab naman din para default ang subnet mask. Pag ok na, lalabas na ung IP sa network tab ng ASTER

• Dito na tayo sa Netwok Tab ng ASTER. pwede lagay mo.

User/Place 1: 192.168.1.101
User/Place 2: 192.168.1.102



• After magawa na po lahat yan. "RUN Aster Workplaces" then Restart if necessary.

Nandito yung Trial Niya 10 Days.

First we must label our ether/interface fields

(my example)
LAN = 192.168.1.1
WAN1 = 192.168.2.1
WAN2 = 192.168.3.1

$ assuming you have already configured LAN address, lets continue on configuring our 2 internet connections.

$ This is how we setup our routing using ECMP gateway with check gateway. We are doing load-balancing combination with "per-source(src) - destination(dst)" , it may also be explained as "persistent per-connection load balancing".

$ We are now going to configure our Mangling rules to mark and route both internet source which is wan1 and wan2
click: Ip > Firewall > Mangle Tab

$ let us now add routing rules for both wan1 and wan2 which we added earlier in ip>firewall>mangle.

======== WIFI HOTSPOT TUTORIAL ========

now lets start the WiFi Hotspot Tutorial, lists of what we need.

1. Mikrotik Routerboard (any routerboard)
2. Internet Connection (any source medium)
3. Access Point (WiFi router, Outdoor 2.4ghz Wifi Antenna and etc...)
4. ethernet cable
5. Patience

Steps

1. Open Winbox and Open your Routerboard (default ip is 192.168.88.1 or 0.0.0.0) connect to ETH2 or Port2..
(or click search button)

2. Set your ether/interface

example:
ether1 -> wifi
ether2 -> wan

3. Ddd dns

click: Ip > DNS
(note: check "Allow Remote Requests" this is to allow the remote request)

4. Now we will add hotspot dhcp server

click: Ip > Dhcp Server

click Networks tab

5. Next is to add "Hotspot User Profile"
click: Ip > Hotspot > User Profile

6. Next to add is "Hotspot Server Profile"

click: Server Profile Tab

7. And then lets add our "Hotspot Server"
click: Servers Tab

8. For clients to access our hotspot we need to add users details
click: Users Tab

9. And then lets add a Route to our hotspot gateway
click: IP > Route

10. and lastly you will need your antenna to be set as AP mode. now you can start selling voucher tickets

Before doing this tutorial make sure that your deepfreeze is disabled to take effect.

1.Click Start and type "run" and hit ENTER.

2.Type "msconfig" then hit ENTER or click OK.

3. Click Startup TAB,select the application you want to automatically start on startup and unchecked other programs you want to be disable and click APPLY.

4. Click on Boot TAB,Click advanced option.

5.Select Number of Proccessors and select the highest option,Select Maximum Memory.Click OK and RESTART.
